Responsive and kind staff, well equipped room (in addition to full kitchen, there was a washer/DRYER combo), exceptional location just across the street from the Te Papa Museum, excellent food in the attached restaurant, the Gallery Lounge. The hotel decor is fresh, fun and interesting, welcoming and comfortable. A few days before our arrival, one of our group broke her hip and had emergency surgery. She was newly released from the hospital and we wanted to settle her into her room at the hotel upon the arrival of our morning ferry to Wellington. We messaged Museum Apartment Hotel and requested that she be given access to her room early and the staff was unfailingly gracious and kind in their immediate response and they arranged for our entire group to be checked into our rooms several hours early. Their kindness made a difficult situation much better.

The hotel itself is gorgeous. Beautiful art decorating the lobby gives the hotel an elevated and cultured feel. The valet service was appreciated and very helpful. The staff were lovely and very accomodating. I loved the gift they left us in our room to commemorate the occassion. The room was a great size with more than the average hotel amenities. Two hob stove, oven, microwave, and a washer/dryer. There was an extra large tub that filled very quickly and the toiletries all smelt lovely and were gentle on skin. The hotel was within walking distance to many great tourist spots and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

There is a good lane pool which we used on several occasions which was a bonus. The room was quiet and a good size. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi seemed to work fine. There is a small kitchen in the room which was very valuable on Christmas Day when many restaurants were closed. The hotel and the room seemed to be well serviced and clean. This is a good solid hotel in a great location.

The apartment was well fitted-out and the 6th floor has great views across Wellington harbour. A great area for lots of diverse restaurants, across the road from the Te Papa museum and walking distance to the central city for shopping, the harbour ferry, cable car and much more. Good restaurants abound (really enjoyed the Yacht Club and Fratellis), harbourside and surrounding streets.

The rooms amenities were plentiful - who would have thought a washing machine would be in the room too 🤗 And everything was so clean and just nice to look at and use. We also appreciated the heads up about the road works possibly being in operation from 4 am. While it didn't happen, the courtesy heads up was really considerate.
